A family friend discovered Waseme's remarkable singing talent at the age of 12 and promptly began taking her to auditions and talent shows around Miami, where she secured first place in her very first competition. This early success led to numerous solo performances in churches, as well as at funerals and weddings of friends and family, where her vocal prowess continued to captivate and inspire audiences.

A former student of the prestigious Duke Ellington School of the Performing Arts, Waseme honed her craft under the guidance of industry luminaries, immersing themselves in the world of Musical Theater and mastering the nuances of performance art. It was here that Waseme's artistic identity began to take shape, laying the foundation for a career marked by versatility, depth, and undeniable talent.

Continuing her pursuit of musical excellence, Waseme furthered her education with a focus on Classical voice, delving into the intricacies of the genre with unwavering dedication and precision. A natural soprano, Waseme's vocal prowess knows no bounds, effortlessly traversing the realms of opera, gospel, R&B, and beyond with grace and finesse.

Waseme has been happily married to her husband Gary for 14 years, and together are raising their three beautiful children—Victoria, Amare, and Ezekiel. As a family, they've embraced a life of adventure and growth, having lived in vibrant cities like Cairo, Egypt, and Tokyo, Japan and now currently living in Accra, Ghana
